Albino Buenos Aires Tetra

An albino form of the Buenos Aires Tetra, these are quite hardy, peaceful, mid-water swimming Characins from South America. Growing up to 7cm, these need to be kept an aquarium at least 80cm long and will tolerate a pH level of anywhere between 5.8 and 8.5. Can be fin nippers and are known for eating plants (Java Fern will be ok). Provide some artificial plants, open swimming space and good filtration. Keep with other active fish and feed a mix of flakes, pellets, and frozen tropical foods.
