In the summertime, the fish are very active, and their metabolism is high. The 37% of highly digestible protein will enable the fish to utilise this food very efficiently whilst helping to keep the pond water clean and healthy.

Nishikoi Growth Food also contains a formulation of Spirulina, Astaxanthin and Canthaxanthin along with stabilised Vitamin C to maintain and improve the health and colour of your fish during the Summer.

Feeding Guide:

• Feed 3 to 4 times daily when the water temperature is 17°c or above.
• It is advisable not to feed Growth Food your fish once the water temperature falls below 17°c due to the slowing of their natural metabolisms.
• Feed as much Growth Food to your fish as they can consume in 5 minutes. Any uneaten food should then be removed.

Feeding Tips:

• Below 17°c Nishikoi recommend stopping feeding Growth Food and switch to Nishikoi Staple Food.
• For a bit of variety or for a treat, try feeding some Betta Choice Shrimp Cocktail.
• To feed your fish when you go away in the summer, we recommend using a Betta Pond Food Holiday Block or Tetra Pond Holiday Food. Afterwards, remove any uneaten food before using your regular food again.
