Evolution Aqua Detox 30” Dechlorinator

Description

There is no need to wait for chlorine to gas-off or to use liquid treatments. Simply fill up straight from the hosepipe via the Evolution Aqua Detox Dechlorinator. This unit simply connects to garden hose or rigid pipe work. Connectors for fitting to standard hose pipes are included.

The hi-grade activated carbon removes chlorine, chloramine, bromine, malachite green, dyes, colours, humic acids, organics, proteins, antibiotics, hormones, and ozone.

Quick and simple to use, the high-capacity pre-washed carbon is 100% fish safe and has an extremely high toxin removal rate.

A few tips and notes:

• The unit is best installed vertically, this way the water is evenly distributed.
• It is not ice-proof, so do not leave outside in the winter, store vertically in an ice-free environment.
• Before use, flush until the water is clear and free of dust and carbon particles.
• Do not install a tap ‘downstream’ of the outlet, it is likely to build up pressure and potentially split the unit.
• When not in use, store vertically and let the water drain away, store in the dark to prevent algae growth.
• To hard plumb the Aqua Detox you require a ¾” single union female threaded to plain female connector and suitable pipe, we would suggest using some PTFE tape to ensure a watertight seal. For mounting, we would recommend using 4″ pipe clips.
