Description
This product is a mix of different live filter bacteria’s which help break down toxic ammonia and nitrite and help make the water safe for fish.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Remove carbon and any other chemical adsorbing media from your filter before use. Failure to do so will reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
- When cleaning your filter, do not use raw tap water as the chlorine and chloramines present will remove the live nitrifying bacteria that has colonised in there. Only clean filter media in old aquarium, rain, or other non-chlorinated water.
When to use:
- When setting up new aquariums.
- After water changes.
- Cleaning filter media.
- Fitting new filter media.
- Dose every 15 days.
Product Information:
- Recommended for: cold water and tropical fish.
- Treatment type: liquid.
- Suitable for use in freshwater aquariums only.
- Harmless to filters and all species of fish, shrimp, and invertebrates.
- Store at a temperature of between +4º and +35ºC.
Dosage & total treatment volume:
- Use 10ml per 100 litres for maintenance.
- Use 10ml per 40 litres for starting an aquarium and after using fish treatments.
- This bottle will treat up to 1000L of water.
