Sera PrefiX Pre-Filter
- For installation ‘in-line’, using 16/22mm hose.
- 2x quick release hose couplings included for easy removal.
- Strong, tight fitting o-ring lid.
- Suitable for use with many different mechanical, chemical or biological medias (if using fine medias, place in a Sera Filter Media Bag first).
- Motorless filter is suitable for use as a prefilter, to remove cloudiness or pollution as a quick filter, or as a biofilter for expanding the filter capacity of small external filters.
- Can be used post-filter for use with media such as carbon, peat, or ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, and silicate removers.
- Can be connected to a pump on a sump filter or other system.
- Extends filter capacity by 1.6L, using 2x baskets.
- Connecting several PrefiX filters in series is also possible.
