Sera Med Professional Argulol 100ml

Description

Sera Med Professional Argulol is a well-tolerated, highly concentrated water treatment for the quick and complete removal of parasitic crustaceans such as fish lice (Argulus), anchor worms, crustaceans affecting the gills parasitic isopods and small crustaceans (that may serve as intermediate hosts for other parasites) that frequently occur in ponds.

After treatment is completed, residues are broken down biologically. A water change is not necessary.

Important note: Other invertebrates such as snails, clams, crayfish, and insect (larvae) do not tolerate the treatment. Amphibians and plants are not affected by the treatment.

Product Information:

• Recommended for: all koi ponds and coldwater aquariums.
• Treatment type: liquid, mix with a bucket of pond water before adding to your pond.
• Composition per 100ml: emamectin benzoate 1g, denatonium benzoate 1.5g

Dosage & total treatment volume:

• Read instructions carefully before use.
• Use 5ml per 1000 litres (220 gallons).
• This 100ml bottle treats 20,000 litres (4400 gallons).

Usage tips:

• Check your pond water quality before use (for ammonia, nitrite, pH etc).
• Remove any adsorbent filter media such as carbon or phosphate remover before use (these may remove all or part of the treatment).
• Turn off UV filtration (if used) for 3 days after during the medication.
• Increase aeration during treatment.
• Do not use when the water temperature is below 10°c or above 30°c.
• Do not use in hot, humid, and thundery weather.
• Do not mix with other medications.
• You may repeat the treatment after 3 weeks to combat crustacean larvae that may have hatched from eggs in the meantime.
