Uses:

• Marine and reef aquariums.
• African Rift Lake set ups such as Malawi, Tanganyika, and Victoria biotopes.
• Other aquariums that require high pH values.

Features:

• Acts as a natural buffer to water hardness due to its calcium and carbonate content helping to create a natural environment for aquarium inhabitants.
• When ReeFlowers Pearl White Sand is added to the aquarium water some parts of it may dissolve helping to buffer your aquariums pH level between 8.1 – 8.4.
• Helps to create the optimum environment for nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria, helping to clean water.
• Its recommended that the sand be thoroughly rinsed before introduction into the aquarium.
• If cloudiness is to be avoided, ReeFlowers AquaClear can be used after adding the sand.
• Presence of dust in the sand is due to its natural formation whereby the dust has exactly the same content as sand grains therefore its harmless.
