Buenos Aires Tetra
Experts in Tropical Fish and Reptiles, Foods and Supplies, Tanks and Aquariums. |
Buenos Aires Tetra are bright, shiny, schooling community fish. These fish are also quite hardy, and peaceful too, spending most of their time swimming in mid-water. Growing up to 7cm, these need to be kept an aquarium at least 80cm long and will tolerate a pH level of anywhere between 5.8 and 8.5. Can be fin nippers and are known for eating plants (Java Fern will be ok). Provide some artificial plants, open swimming space and good filtration. Keep with other active fish and feed a mix of flakes, pellets, and frozen tropical foods.
