NT Labs Pond Bacterad Anti-Ulcer Fin-Rot & Flukes cures infections such as ulcers, split fins, fin rot, mouth rot, red blotches, missing scales, or clamped fins, general sluggish behaviour, and internal flukes (trematodes, parasitic flatworms) on pond fish.
Safe for use with all pond fish including Goldfish, Koi, and also more sensitive species such as Orfe, Rudd, and Sterlet.
Use NT Labs Pond Bacterad Anti-Ulcer, Finrot, & Flukes when:
Show symptoms of ulcers, split fins, fin rot, mouth rot, red blotches, missing scales, or clamped fins.
Fish are scratching or rubbing against objects to relieve irritation, showing red irritated skin.
Exhibiting general sluggish behaviour.
A disease preventative in early spring and autumn.
Safe to use if Pond Salt Plus is present in the water at ‘General Tonic’ level.
Product Information:
Recommended for: all garden and koi ponds.
Suitable for all pond fish including Orfe, Rudd and Sterlet/Sturgeons.
Treatment type: liquid, mix with water before adding to your pond.
Harmless to filters, all species of fish, wildlife, and plants.
Active ingredients: Acriflavine 80 mg/100ml, Aminoacridine HCl 80 mg/100ml, Formaldehyde 2260 mg/100ml.
Dosage & total treatment volume:
Read instructions carefully before use.
Use 10ml per 182 litres (40 gallons).
Usage tips:
Check your pond water quality before use (for ammonia, nitrite, pH etc).
Remove any adsorbent filter media such as carbon or phosphate remover before use (these may remove all or part of the treatment).
Turn off UV filtration (if used) for 10 days.
Increase aeration during treatment.
Do not use when the water temperature is above 30°c
Do not use in hot, humid, and thundery weather.
Do not mix with other medications.
