NT Labs Aquarium Phosphate Remover addresses this commonly overlooked area of tropical and cold water aquarium keeping. It efficiently draws out one of nuisance algae’s main food sources, phosphate, permanently removing it and locking it a way, starving the algae of its food source.
NT Labs Aquarium Phosphate Remover is fast-acting, and highly effective. It is designed to be placed inside external canister and some internal power filters. With the spherical shape of the granules, Aquarium Phosphate Remover will not clump and therefore maintain excellent water flow throughout its use. A suitably sized filter media bag is included for containing the product.

Use whenever high phosphate or silicate is detected.

It does not affect the biological filter or the pH of the water.

Dosage & total treatment volume:
IMPORTANT: read instructions before use.
Check phosphate levels using a phosphate test kit.
Place in the included filter media bag and rinse before use.
Replace after 2-3 months or if algae begins to appear.
This media is not reusable.
Usage tips:
Check your aquarium water quality before use (for ammonia, nitrite, pH etc).
Keep skimmers and UV filtration switched on if present.
Use every time you conduct a partial water change or detect a high phosphate level.
Do not use in fluidised filters.
