Description

NT Labs Koi Care Permanganate can be used:

When fish have visible external parasites such as lice and leeches or show signs of parasitic infection (such as flicking, rubbing, or gasping) or ulcers.
As a whole pond treatment to treat parasitic infections from Costia, Trichodina, Chilodonella, etc.
As a dip/bath treatment in a separate volume of water to treat fish lice and leeches, and for cleaning ulcers.
For general cleaning of pond water, reducing chemical oxygen demand and dissolved organic carbon.
Product Information:

Recommended for: all koi ponds.
Do not use with Orfe, Rudd, Tench or Sturgeon/Sterlet.
Treatment type: liquid, mix with a bucket of pond water before adding to your pond.
Active Ingredients: Potassium permanganate 4000mg/100ml.
Dosage & total treatment volume:

Read instructions carefully before use.
Whole pond treatment: use 10ml per 200 litres (44 gallons).
Dip/bath treatment: use 10ml per 36 litres (8 gallons).
Treats up to 5,000 litres.

Dip/bath treatment:

Add the appropriate dosage to a bucket of clean pond water and gently submerge fish.
Provide additional aeration during the course of the dip.
Leave fish in the dip treatment for no more than 30 minutes.
Do not leave fish unattended during dip treatments.
Usage tips:

Check your pond water quality before use (for ammonia, nitrite, pH etc).
Remove any adsorbent filter media such as carbon or phosphate remover before use (these may remove all or part of the treatment).
Turn off UV filtration (if used) until the medication colour has disappeared from the water.
Increase aeration during treatment.
Do not use when the water temperature is above 22°c.
Do not use in hot, humid, and thundery weather.
Do not mix with other medications.
