Description
Low carbonate hardness (KH) is a natural consequence of biological processes in aging water and can result in an unstable permanent hardness (pH). A KH of approximately 6 dKH is ideal for maintaining a stable pH in most freshwater aquariums.
NT Labs Aquarium KH Up – pH Stabiliser is a pure blend of bicarbonate and carbonate minerals to increase and replenish the KH of freshwater. NT Labs Aquarium KH Up – pH Stabiliser is free of detrimental phosphate and nitrate that causes algae.

Recommended for: replenishes the KH (carbonate hardness) stabilising pH levels.
Treatment type: buffer in powder form.
Suitable for use in tropical and cold water aquariums only.
Dosage & total treatment volume:
6g (approx. 1 level teaspoon) per 100 litres to increase KH by 2 dKH.
This product will raise up to 3,000 litres by 2 dKH.
Check KH levels weekly using NT Labs Hardness Test and add NT Labs Aquarium KH Up – pH Stabiliser as required.
IMPORTANT: Do not increase KH by more than 2 dKH in a 24 hour period.
