Eheim Aquaball 130 Internal Filter (2402) 60-130L

Description

The Eheim Aquaball is a modular, cylindrically fashioned filter with a ‘ball shaped’ pump head fitted in the top. The pump fits in to a very sturdy ball-joint holder and the outlet can be pointed in almost any direction. This is all mounted on the aquariums glass with a sturdy holder and 3x very effective suction cups.

Other features of these filters include:
• Adjustable output.
• Large volume filter intake using all the filtration surface.
• “Easy-click” locking system for simple connection and detachment of the filter baskets.
• (extra filter baskets are available separately to increase the size of the filter, a maximum of 2 per filter is recommended, Eheim part no 4024000).
• Filter media box for a blue foam (extra biological) is supplied, or to ‘polish’ the water you can use an Eheim white fine filter pad (Eheim part no 2616080, not supplied with the filter).

In addition to these, alternative filter medias are available to fit these filters:
• Carbon cartridges (Eheim part no 2628080) instead of the supplied foam/sponge filters, or
• Eheim AKTIV carbon (loose carbon) 250ml (Eheim part no 2513021), both for the removal of chemicals and pollutants.
• Phosphate removing cartridges (Eheim part no 4024000) for helping to reduce algae.
• Eheim SUBSTRATpro 250ml (Eheim part no 2510021) for higher surface area biological filtration.

Outlet attachments are included. You have the choice of using either:
• Venturi power diffuser (for a blast of bubbles and extra oxygenation of the water).
• Spray bar jet pipe (for an even spread of water movement).
• You can attach a piece of flexible hose to pump the water into a feature or trickle filter (not included).
• Or do not do any of the above and just let the water flow out gently using the flow adjuster on the pump.

Other Eheim accessories available separately to fit these filters:
• 4009680, wide-jet nozzle, for a flat wide jet of water.
• 4009700, nozzle and adapter set, for attaching 12/16mm and 16/22mm Eheim hose to the pump outlet.
• 4009610, Extension Piece for Installation Set 1 (attaching to nozzles or spray bar).
• 4009620, Spray Bar for Installation Set 2 (larger spray bar set for pump outlet).
