Our Betta Lifespace aquariums have been a best seller for us for a very long time. We now have a full ‘Starter Kit’ option for the range which includes the accessories the consumer needs to get a Goldfish tank up and running.
Kit includes:

Plants too can be successfully grown within these aquariums.

Recommended aquarium heater: (our code GD114) Betta Compact Heater 50w or equivalent.

Instructions:
• Carefully remove all items from the packaging and make sure that nothing is missing or damaged.
• Rinse and wipe out the aquarium.
• Place the aquarium on a smooth, flat, stable surface.
• Rinse the gravel, wash away any dust and place in the bottom of the aquarium.
• Install the LED light unit into bottom of the filter compartment and feed the cable out of the back of the aquarium. The light unit cable plugs into the male plug that comes out of the top of the tank and the power supply connects to the female plug.
• Place the filter media on top of the LED light unit, carbon cartridge (rinse first), followed by the white pad, the blue pad.
• Connect the pipe work to the pump and fit in to the slot to the left of the filter making sure that the water outlet is pointing downwards. Feed the power cable out of the back of the aquarium. Do not switch any power on.
• Gently start filling the aquarium with water and add the NT Labs Aquarium Tap Water Safe.
• Any decoration can now be added inside the tank.
• The pump and light can now be switched on and the NT Labs Aquarium Filter Starter added.
• If tropical fish are to be kept, place the chosen aquarium heater (not included) in the tank and leave for 20 minutes before switching on.
• The thermometer should now be attached on the outside of the glass, ideally as far away from the aquarium heater as possible.
• The aquarium will now need to settle for at least 3 days before fish are added. Seek further advice from the store that you are purchasing your fish from.
Important:
• Do not try to move the aquarium with water in it. This may break the aquarium and will render the warranty invalid.
• Before placing your hands in the water, switch off the pump and aquarium heater (if fitted) first.
